”Amateur” is a negative term for some that usually describes a person who is inexperienced, unqualified, or lacks skill. However, the origin of the word can convey a greater image of someone who works because they love what they do. Many pastors and churches have become ”professional” in the sense that they only serve in order to be served or to profit from their work. The purpose of this podcast is to encourage pastors and churches to live as ”Amateurs” and return to a love for Christ and others evidenced in studying Scripture and serving one another. Amateur pastors and churches are not inexperienced or unprofessional; rather, they seek excellence in what they do, but with the right motivation...LOVE!
